IFLA LRM Relationship Overview

Table below summarizes in a concise tabular form the relationships defined in the model. All relationships are refinements of the top-level relationship (LRM-R1), which is given in the first row of the first column. All the other relationships defined in the model are at the same level and are given in the second column. In an expansion of the model, additional second level relationships, as well as relationships at still lower hierarchy levels, may be defined. To make the listing more compact, only the relationship names are given, the inverse names are omitted.

Table below shows in tabular form the superclass and subclass relationships defined between the entities.. The model includes a single top-level entity (res), shown in the first column of the table; all other entities are direct or indirect subclasses of res. The eight entities that are direct subclasses of res are shown in the second column: work, expression, manifestation, item, agent, nomen, place, time-span. The third column shows the two entities that are subclasses of the entity agent: person and collective agent.

Tabel di bawah ini memperlihatkan bagaimana hubungan superclass dan subclass didefinisikan dalam entitas. Model ini mencakup entitas level paling atas (res) yang berada pada kolom 1 dan semua entitas lainnya merupakan subclass dari res baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. 8 entitas yang berada di kolom 2 adalah subclass dari res, yaitu, work, expression, manifestation, item, agent, nomen, place, time-span. Sedangkan dua entitas yang merupakan subclass dari entitas agent adalah person dan collective agent, berada pada kolom 3.
